What Wealth Means To Some

An act of bizarre behavior trumpeting extreme irresponsibility and brazen insensitivity, resulting a botched operation in the form of this monstrosity of architecture, a rocky mountain villa built illegally on top of a condominium block. From the article read this excerpt,

"The owner of the rocky outcrop has been identified as Professor Zhang Biqing, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine who owns a national chain of acupuncture clinics, and is a former member of a district People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC)", according to the South China Morning Post.

Apparently Professor Zhang has powerful social, or political, influences, but have been allowed to freely brandish his powerful influences to materialize this behemoth dwelling? Did Professor Zhang intend to audaciously reflect his stature in some parallel manner? Enough said of this insane undertaking by a powerful professional who bewildered the blogger and brought his misunderstanding to a new level, with the media has already begun to affirm China's fall with its ambitious to emulate a misguided prestige, a powerful country in an egotistic owner  of the world tallest building.

China Rock Villa By CNN

In perfect timing, news media is miraculously quick to churn and feed the web speculating the infamous Skyscraper index prophecy on China's tallest structure in the world, or do the harbingers of
an economic bust mean to tremble the global leaders in economics and politics and render timely as well? Investors, corporate and countries' leaders, are they buckling belts in anticipation of a very bumpy ride in 2014 and following years? How to curb air pollution with sky-high buildings sprouting out just to symbolize a country's status?

In as many years he had followed global financial crises and economic collapses as he had reforms, stimulus, and summits' propositions and implementations, our global financial woes are still far from stable and, on the contrary, still volatile.

It is not the blogger's intention to zoom on China yet it is difficult not to microscope China first. Since China opened her markets to outsiders, positive and negative news flooded media, disdaining or entertaining?

But China is not the only country deserving so much media, negative or positive. There are many developed countries are ailing too or maybe doing worse. Like flotsam and jetsam in an ocean striving to be recovered.

The blogger do not wish to bore his readers with long essay but the topic of wealth and audacious manifestations is not over, and will continue in his next post. :)
